"All four song titles talk about the ‚Open Range‘. „Sunset“ starts noisy, leading to the slow chords, still accompanied by little sounds like ‚Guitar Driver‘ Karl Ritter or Mose. It feels like the last rays of sunshine tickle the skin, making the time stand still like Stoner Doom but with sliding and fingerstyle character.

This brings up other solo artists from other genres like Henrik Huber, while the drone, softly plugged melodies, sliding and noises take further „To The Field“. Apart from the plains, cozy cottages like in „The Hateful Eight“ come to one’s mind, where this guitar work could fit as well.

A fire is crackling, as drums come in from the far hills and the spirit of Nazareth arises in „There Is Nothing Over The Horizon“. Finally „It’s Getting Dark“ with a last Industrial transition, string harmonics, soft drums and voices from the prairie. Walter Hill could use an atmosphere like this, like Arctic Sounds, Psychedelic like Pink Floyd, creaking like the chair of ‚Sweet Dave‘, where we sit down to listen again..." - stateofguitars.net

Ta płyta jest efektem mojej przygody z looperem.
Na początku czerwca 2023 zacząłem stosować efekt Boss RC1.
Mogłem siedzieć i grać przez kilka godzin odkrywając nowe możliwości efektów i dźwięków. Oczywiście wszystko nagrywałem. Po miesiącu odsłuchałem nagrania, wyciąłem kilka zbędnych minut, pozbyłem się większości szumów i poprawiłem dźwięk (najważniejsze było stworzenie przestrzeni przy przejściu z mono na stereo). Pomysł na wydanie albumu przyszedł mi do głowy podczas miksowania. Uznałem, że dźwięk jest dobry i czas przedstawić Wam nową produkcję.

Całość została nagrana przy użyciu jednej gitary elektroakustycznej, multiefektu gitarowego i loopera.
Dodatkowe szumy i ambienty zostały dodane z syntezatora midi przy mixowaniu.

Inspiracją, nie tylko muzyczną, był oczywiście stary dobry akustyczny blues, ale również dużym impulsem był też Blake Edward Conley (potrafi stworzyć ciekawy dźwiękowy nastrój) .

Często wyobrażałem sobie siebie grającego się na polu, przy wietrze i dźwiękach ptaków oraz cykad w tle - stąd pomysł na tytuł albumu.

This album is the result of my adventure with the looper.
At the beginning of June 2023 I started using the Boss RC1 effect.
I could sit and play for hours discovering new possibilities for effects and sounds. Of course, I recorded everything. After a month, I listened to the recordings, cut out a few unnecessary minutes, got rid of most of the hiss and improved the sound (the most important thing was to create space when switching from mono to stereo). The idea to release the album came to me while mixing. I decided that the sound is good and it's time to introduce you to the new production.

The whole thing was recorded using one electro-acoustic guitar, guitar multi-effects and a looper.
Additional noises and ambients were added from the midi synthesizer when mixing.

The inspiration, not only musically, was of course the good old acoustic blues, but also Blake Edward Conley (he can create an interesting sound mood) was also a big impulse.

I often imagined myself playing in a field, with the wind and the sounds of birds and cicadas in the background - hence the idea for the title of the album.
